Mr. Taylor worked on a variety of projects including APD Container Port in Nassau, Bahamas, Marina Village at Atlantis Paradise Island, The University of The Bahamas Campus in Freeport, Grand Bahama. while at Jackson Burnside Ltd. and Arcop Architects. His 10 years experience and expertise in project design allows him to bring clients visions to life for residential or commercial projects.
DATUM designs was founded in 2015 in The Bahamas. We focus on affordable resistant energy efficient structures that offer a safer, stronger dwelling to weather the storm. Service to our clients is fundamental. We execute with a commitment to quality and design with the project constraints and client’s needs.

ARCHITECTURE

We offer clients a full range of architectural design services, from concept through construction. INTERIOR DESIGN
Wecooperate with our clients to work with you to pull your room together in your style and budget - taking the guess work out out of decorating. We deliver sophisticated, distinctive, and functional living environments and expertly approach each project based on the client’s vision. Whether your interior tastes lean contemporary, traditional, transitional, period or island we create the spaces you love.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Preparing preliminary design sketches based on your requirements and budget to explore and illustrate possible options. We will review these options with you, pointing out the merits and responding to your input. Redefining the agreed upon schematic design for a clearer definition of the scope and quality of the finished project. Further cost projections will determine how closely the design conforms to the budget expectations, or what, if any, adjustments are required.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND ADMINISTRATION
When the design concepts have been decided, the architect prepares working drawings and specifications. These are required to obtain building permits and bids, and to guide the contractor in construction. We will consult with you and advise you during construction. On-site visits will determine if construction is proceeding in general accordance with the contract, and that the design, materials, and workmanship meet with acceptable standards. Additionally we will periodically provide regular progress reports to keep you informed until the project is completed.
